After the success of the 2021 edition, the Road Safety Forum organized by A4 Holding S.p.A. and promoted by Athesis publishing Group is back for the second consecutive year to raise awareness of road safety.
'Travel on the right path, between safety and responsibility'. Analysis of the past and awareness of the present are necessary for a future with fewer road accidents and safer mobility. The Digital Forum 2022 is therefore develops between road accident data and tips for correct driving behaviour. Direct testimonies and useful tips to avoid dangers and become less dangerous for others.

The Forum on Road Safety 2022 will take place on Friday 4 November from 10 a.m. at the Athesis Group production centre in Verona. The event will be streamed live on the websites and Facebook pages of Athesis newspapers (L'Arena, Il Giornale di Vicenza and Bresciaoggi), on Telemantova's website and related Facebook page, on A4 Holding's socials and on the Veneto and Lombardy pages of the ANSA.it website. It will also be shown in prime time on Sunday 6 November on Telearena (at 9.00 pm) and Telemantova (at 9.50 pm).
The parterre of the event is rich, as are the topics treated. Mario Puliero will open the Forum on Road Safety 2022, director of Telearena, Telemantova and Radio Verona, and Luca Ancetti, co-director of Il Giornale di Vicenza, who will introduce the first two panels dedicated to the importance of having a global vision of road safety in order to be able to intervene effectively at local level. Gonzalo Alcalde Rodriguez, President of A4 Holding, Luciana Iorio, President of the United Nations Working Group on Road Safety, Bruno Chiari, General Manager of A4 Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova, Claudio Carrano, CEO & Founder of Infogestweb-Golia, and Alessandro Smania, the Marketing and Communication Director of MAN Truck & Bus Italia, will take turns on stage. Riccardo Cuomo, Director of ACI Verona, will then present the national ACI-Istat data on accident rates, which will be commented on with the journalists of L'Arena, Il Giornale di Vicenza and Bresciaoggi, who will highlight, numbers in hand, also which are the most dangerous roads in each province.
The day's programme continues with the start of the live connection with the students and the possibility to send their questions live via WhatsApp number. The psychologist-psychotherapist of the Addiction Medicine of the AOUI of Verona Lorenzo Zamboni will open the dance, who will talk about the impact of drugs, alcohol, hyperconnectivity and sleep on driving. Then it will be the turn of a double interview starring the safe driving expert Luigi 'Lucky' Battistolli, former rally driver and president of ACI Vicenza, and Roberto Zecchinato, a Giambenini handbike athlete and part of Verona Strada Sicura, witness after a car accident that forced him into a wheelchair, but didn’t stop him from reacting and starting over with a life full of satisfaction. Finally, the speech of the commander of the Verona Local Police Luigi Altamura dedicated to the behaviour and rules concerning electric micro-mobility.
Following the final panel, in which young people will be the protagonists. Some students will answer questions on road safety posed by driving school owner Sergio Maistrello. Afterwards, together with Commander Altamura, Battistolli and Zamboni will answer questions received via WhatsApp.
