The A4 Holding Group is preparing to celebrate the flattering milestone of its seventieth year of activity at the service of  those traveling in the North East of Italy. A special birthday that reminds us of where we started on 9 June 1952, when the company Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova S.p.A. was formed by an alliance of public and economic entities belonging to seven provinces of Lombardy and Veneto, with the declared aim of joining the two then existing highways: the Milan-Brescia and the Padua-Venice.

It is precisely the strong synergy with the local authorities and institutions of this territory that has allowed us to develop ambitious projects over the years, moving vehicles and goods in order to encourage growth, employment and specialization: an active and concrete participation in the socio-economic progress of the five provinces that our A4 Brescia-Padova and A31 motorways intersect.

In these first seventy years of activity, our Group has focused on the safety of those who rely on our road network at the centre, working hard to reduce accidents and promoting investments aimed at modernizing and increasing the efficiency of all the works carried out and their constant maintenance, thus guaranteeing the highest possible standards of performance and safety.

Standards further increased by the contribution our company can make since it became part of the Abertis Group, one of the most important and solid international operators in toll road management, with almost 8,000 kilometres of high-capacity roads operating in 16 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, and which continuously invests in smart technology and engineering to ensure, on its road networks, safe, comfortable, fast and easy travel for its customers.

In these seventy years, A4 Holding has succeeded in uniting people, companies and territories, innovating itself and its infrastructure network in full sustainability, developing integrated, innovative and technologically advanced solutions and thus projecting Lombardy and Veneto towards Europe, its growth and its challenges.

We continue our mission with renewed commitment and enthusiasm, with the experience and competence we have gained over the decades at the service of travellers and the most correct and coherent development of the territory, ready for the technological challenges of the new frontiers of mobility and motorway traffic, and continuing to promote and associate progress with the cardinal criteria of social responsibility.
