Truck Park Brescia Est has obtained the "Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas - SSTPA" GOLD level certification during the #FORUMAutoMotive, an event that hosts multiple debates on mobility issues, held in Milan on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

It was picked up by Pier Giovanni Pisani, Manager of A4 Trading, the A4 Holding Group’s company that manages the car park set up in 2009 in Castenedolo, in the province of Brescia, which today looks like a real 'citadel of transport', a point of reference for every haulier located along the A4 motorway.

The SSTPA certification is issued by DEKRA, the only accredited body in Europe, and is based on the EU standard for truck parking areas. The SSTPA certification is awarded to those areas which guarantee a high level of safety for drivers, trucks and goods and which contribute significantly to the modernization of road transport in Europe.

This certification confirms the high standards of safety and services offered within Truck Park, which today accommodates 150 thousand heavy vehicles every year parked in its approximately 400 parking spaces within its more than 170 thousand square metres of surface area, data that make the Brescia area the largest truck park in Europe.

In addition to the wide range of services guaranteed to hauliers such as the Santa Giulia Hotel, petrol station and market, workshop and truck washing service, an exceptional security system for truck parking has recently been implemented, which provides CCTV and active surveillance within a fully fenced area. It is precisely these requirements that have enabled Truck Park to obtain the "GOLD" level of SSTPA certification, confirming on the one hand the high quality of the services offered, and on the other hand the security guaranteed to drivers and transported goods.
