The series of territory involvement and listening meetings, organized by A4 Holding and Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova, has concluded. These meetings aimed to gather observations, feedback, and proposals essential for the next phase of the ESA4 (Evolution and Strengthening Program of the A4 motorway between Brescia and Padova). Approximately 160 individuals actively participated in the discussions held across four meetings, initially in Brescia, then Padova (with an event tailored to engage stakeholders from the Metropolitan city of Venezia), followed by Verona, and finally Vicenza. The participation included numerous representatives from local administrations, leaders of trade associations, including those from the trucking industry, and prominent members of environmental associations.
Throughout these meetings, a consensus emerged on the need for enhancing the motorway section. Many participants also deliberated on potential future interventions to improve daily life in the territories affected by the ESA4 project, as well as strategies for mitigating environmental impacts and incorporating technology and sustainable innovations into construction practices.
Building on the insights gleaned from this extensive dialogue and addressing any additional needs identified by territory representatives, Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova has scheduled in-depth technical meetings, which are set to conclude by next February.
Every observation and piece of information gathered will prove invaluable to Autostrada Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova during the analysis and evaluation stages of future planning and design phases.
